OUR PROCESS

One of the questions potential clients ask the most is regarding what to expect when they reach out to General Contractor and through completion of their project. To answer the questions and provide peace of mind, we have outlined the steps any client can expect when working with us.

I - REQUEST FOR SERVICES

This is the initial contact on behalf of potential clients (via email, telephone, or on our website) where they let us know the extent of the work so we can have a preliminary understanding of the clients’ needs.

II - INITIAL SITE VISIT

One of our professionals will contact you to schedule an on-site meeting with one of our team members with the purpose of completing a walk through, discuss the scope of the project in more detail, and get a first-hand notion of the clients’ expectations while being at the property. As a result of current the global health challenge, any person meeting with you will take safety measures to keep everyone safe. Some clients may also opt for a virtual tour.

III - DESIGN PROCESS

(IF APPLICABLE - CAN OTHERISE MOVE TO CONSTRUCTION)

A proposal for the Design (relevant drawings) is provided together with a rough estimate of the cost for the project (subject to change as the drawings are developed and clients’ choices are determined) and an agreement for this phase is signed.

FIELD MEASURING AND PROJECT EVALUATION

A Project Manager will be assigned to your project and along with the Architect will visit the site to further define and understand the scope of the work as well as to identify must-haves and wish list items to use in the design.

FIRST DRAFT REVIEW

Once the preliminary design is ready for review based on the preferences defined by the clients, we will provide a document for review and set up a meeting to go over the drawings together and to get feedback.

SECOND DRAFT REVIEW

After incorporating the clients’ comments, a revised version will be provided and a meeting to review will be scheduled to agree on the design and fine tune elements.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

Final drawings will be developed and submitted to the corresponding authority for review in order to obtain the necessary permits for the specific project.

IV - CONSTRUCTION

Based on the approved permit drawings, a final proposal with accurate pricing is generated for our clients’ review. Once that proposal is agreed upon, the final terms are captured in a contract With a signed contract and approved drawings, Beysmen may pull the necessary trade permits

PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING

The Project Manager assigned to the project will meet with the client to coordinate details regarding logistics and scheduling, as well as to answer any questions clients might have.

CONSTRUCTION

The assigned Project Manager will be the primary point of contact during the construction phase. Part of the Project Manager’s responsibility is to ensure the work will be completed in a professional manner, all inspections are performed, and that it meets safety and client standards.

CONSTRUCTION MEETINGS

Based on the size and complexity of the project the assigned Project Manager will propose the frequency it makes most sense to schedule recurring meetings in order to keep clients updated on the progress of the project and relevant discuss matters on-site

FINAL INSPECTIONS AND PUNCH LIST

Once the work is deemed complete, the Project Manager will coordinate any required final inspections as well as complete a final walk through with the clients to create a punch list of any items that may need attention so they can be promptly addressed.
